Floreo announces new teletherapy capabilities

By Heather | Mar 17, 2020

In the wake of school and clinic closings and the switch for many to remote work, you may be wondering how to keep up the practice of social, behavioral, and life skills for your clients, students, or children. Floreo is a powerful tool in-person in classes or in a therapy setting. Building on this, we are proud to announce that we have built Floreo to include a teletherapy capability.

While Floreo is designed to be a supervised experience, the Learner and Coach do not need to physically be in the same place in order to complete Floreo lessons.

A teacher, therapist, or parent can lead a Floreo session with their iPad from anywhere in the world (that has access to internet) while the Learner experiences the immersive VR lessons using their iPhone and mobile VR headset from the comfort and safety of their own home. We love this functionality because it makes Floreo even more accessible in these extraordinary times.

We know that whether you are at home, at school, or in the office, your goals for working on communication and behavioral skills still remain the same even as you adjust to the logistical challenges that many are experiencing today and for the foreseeable future.
