We are off to the races this year! With panels at DTx West (alongside Cortica CEO Neil Hattangadi) and SXSW EDU, and a poster presentation at the American Telemedicine Association's annual conference it has been a busy time for our team. As many schools around the country incorporate social-emotional learning into their curriculum, consider how Floreo would be the perfect complement for your Learners. From our peer interactions to help Learners understand the intention behind small talk to finding ways to communicate with police officers: there is something for everyone in the Floreo lesson library. Our clinically-designed experiences give your Learners the opportunity to practice building strong relationships and making empathetic decisions when interacting with others, all from the comfort and safety of the classroom, clinic, or home setting. 

Over the years, we have had many different types of requested Floreo experiences and a lot of them have made it into the app already! One of our most frequent asks is to provide the Learner with an experience in the doctor's office. We are pleased to share this sneak peek of the upcoming Floreo doctor's office experience! It is an exciting time at Floreo! We are thrilled to announce the Floreo Immersive Learning Program, a unique opportunity for schools to bring Floreo into their schools for neurodiverse students.

In collaboration with Meta, the program is for neurodiverse students ages 13 and above and includes free Meta Quest 2 headsets for classrooms. In addition, we are providing a Floreo Classroom Bundle for the low setup cost of only $250 through the 2023/2024 school year for participating schools.

Over the years, one of our most frequent content-related asks has been for employment-related lessons. We are pleased to announce the latest lessons in collaboration with Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD). These lessons address soft skills in the workplace: communication, cooperation, collaboration, and compromise. We are excited to share them with you and can't wait to hear what you think!

Recently, Dr. Catherine Lord, the George Tarjan Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry at the Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, took the time to give us her initial feedback based on her experience using Floreo with learners. Dr. Lord co-developed the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), which are together considered the "gold standard" in the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.

The new year brings with it a time for reflection upon goals, possibilities, and ideas. We have ambitious plans for this year and are looking forward to sharing more about them with you soon! 

We are so proud of all of the huge milestones we accomplished this year: our profile in The New York Times, the closing of our $10M Series A funding round, our first partnership with a payer (CareSource). But to us, the behind-the-scenes milestones are just as, if not even more powerful because we can see just how many lives Floreo has touched.

We are constantly working to make Floreo even better: we adjust lessons, improve the experience, and release features and lessons based on customer feedback. We are thrilled to announce that we just launched a "custom lesson plan" feature within all customers' Floreo portals. This feature will allow Coaches to create a personalized row of lessons for each of their Learners.

In the next few weeks, we will be releasing the next lessons in the series that we have been developing with the State of Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Like the Find Your Bus series that we released earlier this year, these lessons are targeted to older Learners and are designed to address employment-related skills. These lessons will also mark the debut of the newest Floreo experience: the Floreo movie theater!
